Fernie Movers, based in Fernie, BC, is growing fast. We're the local moving and storage company trusted by homeowners and businesses across the Elk Valley — from full house moves and B2B contracts to long-term storage.
We're looking for a exceptional Mover's to join our crews on jobs and represent the standard our customers expect — someone whose values fit our culture of fairness, hard work, and pride in a job done right.
What you'll bring:
• Experienced mover with strong leadership instincts — able to, set pace, protect belongings, and finish clean.
• Pride in the craft: padding, strapping, dolly use, stair technique, truck-pack tetris.
• Valid Class 5 licence with a clean abstract; comfortable towing a 7×18 enclosed trailer behind a 1-ton pickup on mountain roads in all seasons.
• Customer-facing and calm under pressure — polite with clients, clear with your crew.
• Physically capable of repeated lifting (50+ lbs), long days, and the occasional 4-flight walk-up.
• Dependable, solutions-oriented, strong as a teammate and as the person in charge.
